Managing Client Access

Although GIST integrates the ILL & Acquisitions workflows, it is likely that your acquisitions staff will not need access to the Borrowing and Lending menus. Not only will this keep their ILLiad experiences more straightforward and easier to navigate, it will also prevent them from accidentally changing request statuses in those menus.

It is recommended, therefore, that you limit read & write access for acquisitions staff to only Document Delivery within the ILLiad Staff Manager. When creating new staff user accounts, be aware that you must select these privileges each time.
