Odyssey Standalone
What is it?
Odyssey Standalone is a free version of the Odyssey document delivery software used by ILLiad libraries. It is available to non-ILLiad subscribers for free so that they can easily send and receive documents with the over 1,000 ILLiad users worldwide. Odyssey Standalone is available as a free download from Atlas Systems.
How does it help?
Non-ILLiad subscribers can more quickly and easily send and receive articles from ILLiad users. Odyssey offers a full-featured scanning interface, although you can also import images scanned from networked devices. Received files can easily be converted to PDF and either emailed to your users or easily imported into Ariel for document delivery. The software is quick to set up, the interface is simple to use, and the workflow saves you time. Plus, because ILLiad users can send Odyssey documents more quickly than Ariel documents, you can receive your articles much faster.
